No longer just a Trophy Wife

Written by Bizzy

I've been really busy lately.  But, I've been busy in other ways besides training.  I'm finding out just how hard it is to build in training into your day.  But the days I have run, swam or biked have been great!

I've entered the real world--the one where people work for a living.  Over the past several years I have enjoyed being a "kept woman" or trophy wife (HA !).  If you knew me, you'd laugh out loud at that, too!  In August I decided to get my Real Estate License.  I've completed 90 hours of school, passed my exams and am now in the Executive Path training program with Realty Executives.  This is a one month program, so hopefully after that I'll be ready to start training for SOMETHING again--even if it's just the 5k Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day!  I need small goals to get me moving forward in the right direction.

I think I was a little burned out with racing lately, anyway.  But now that I don't have all day to fit my workouts in, I'm finding that I do enjoy the ones I can fit in.

Look for me at the Turkey Trot--hopefully I'll be running the entire thing.  I do need some kind of goal, ya know!

Happy Training
